How it Works
Complementary Consultation:
At this initial meeting you will have the opportunity to discuss all the details of your design requirements at leisure. You can browse the many gorgeous fabric sample books for inspiration, and Carol will produce design sketches which will be yours to keep, all entirely without obligation at this stage. You will be provided with a detailed costing for your dress, based on your choices. If you are happy with the designs, then your booking can be made to reserve a space for your wedding date.
First Fitting:
Approximately 6 weeks later, your dress will be ready to fit in the form of a calico toille. This is used to modify and refine the fit, boning placement and design details of your gown, before being cut from your chosen fabrics. This calico pattern is crucial in creating a sculpted, perfect body shape, and requires handling with great skill.
Subsequent Fittings:
Your gown will now be made in your fabrics of choice. Design details, beadwork and other embellishments are added until completion.
Accessories:
Bespoke tiaras and veils are available to order, and expert advice is offered on all other accessories.
